Reset your Soul in 5 Simple Steps

Just the other day, I began feeling overwhelmed by the troubles of life. And although these problems are your typical “first world” woes, nevertheless, I needed a personal time-out to reset and recenter myself. 

Taking time to connect with the soul leaves you feeling more energized, and at peace with yourself. You are refocused on your goals, grounded in the moment, and buzzing from all the good juju’s in the air.  


Now, a reset to the soul might be a little different for everyone.


But here are 5 ways to recenter, reconnect, and reset your soul.


  1. Cleanse It

Water is a healing agent. Whether you opt for taking a warm bath, a cold shower, or going for a salty dip your soul is sure to feel rejuvanated and refreshed. 


2. Nourish It

In order to help keep the soul healthy and happy, it’s important to feed it with that good mood food. Focus on fueling yourself with a nourishing and wholesome diet. 


3. Listen To It

Our soul speaks to us silently, do we ever take the time to listen? Write out everything you are currently feeling, then go back and read it. Journaling is such a raw and real way to discover what your heart is trying to say. 

4. Move It

Moving the body is what awakens the soul. This can be anything from flowing it out in yoga, hitting the streets for a walk around the block , or getting down with a good old dance party. How you choose to move your body doesn’t matter. What matters is doing something that makes the body feel strong, centered, and confident.

5. Connect With It

Breathing is the soul’s existance in full force. By taking the time to connect with your breath, you are connecting to the spirit within. And when you are connected to the highest vibing version of yourself— magic happens.
