Wander with a Focus

Are you someone who wanders the world worried about nothing but your backpack, a map and how to say, “more beer” in as many different languages as possible? Or are you a planner, focused on only one desire of life and constantly challenging yourself to get there? Wandering freely provides life with meaning, whereas having a focus provides a sense of control. Neither way is right or wrong, but what if you were able to experience both worlds?

I’ve decided to try a new outlook on life:

Wander with a Focus - The perfect balance between living in the moment, and aligning the future.

(and one hell of a name for my memoir)

You may think I’m a little cray-cray, but I’m telling you, this shit works! So how does one obtain the nirvana of wandering with a focus?

+Find Your Focus, Just Do It.

It could be intimidating trying to conjure up a dream in your head, especially if you don’t have a particular focus. Answers unfold by doing, not thinking so just DO something. You don’t have to commit, start with what feels right and begin to let your mind explore all the different possibilities.

 +Let it Go

Once you become very clear of what you want, let go of all expectations. Hold on to nothing but the confidence in yourself and savor every unpredictable moment of life. This allows a freedom to discover the person you are, while establishing a better understanding of the person you will become.

 +…?

I don’t really have a step 3, I’m still waiting to see how it all unfolds. (Hopefully I’ll have it figured out by the time my autobiography comes out.)

And if you still think I’m bat-shit-crazy let me tell you a story,

While wandering along campus, days after embracing this new way of life, I came across the sign I’ve been waiting for.  If you don’t believe this is the universe’s way of saying,“Gennah, enjoy where you are now and you will get to where you want to be,” then you are bat-shit-crazy. I told you This. Shit. Works.
