Bad Bitch Beats: Coachella Edition

My ears are ringing and my liver is recovering as I’m left with the lingering high of my epic time spent in the fantasy land of Coachella.

Between Pharrell’s star studded performance and getting Daft Punk’ed by Arcade Fire, I think it’s safe to say I fell into an even deeper love for music.

The weekend was full of good vibes and badass beats. It was also full of beer, pizza and drugs a lack of exercise. Come Monday I was more than ready to get back on my running grind, however, I wasn’t ready to part with all the festival fun.

But now, thanks to my new Bad Bitch Beats: Coachella Edition, I can bring the party with me on every workout.

This playlist is loaded with tons of fist pumping jams from some of the incredibly talented artists that performed over the weekend.

Although the music was candy to my ears, the real treat was watching the genuine passion these artists have for their craft. Taking the stage at Coachella is a dream that most musicians have, yet only few are able to actually accomplish.

Maybe it was the drugs or maybe it was the perks of VIP, but I really did feel the compelling energy pouring out of every single one of these artists. They all experienced a surreal moment in their career this weekend.

You know, one of those moments where you stop, take a look around and realize you've made it.Having the power to bring joy to the world by being yourself and doing what you love to do is something we all strive for.

and if they can do it, so can we.

The Mermaid
