Pumpkin Spiced Protein Balls

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love balls in my mouth. (...and anyone that really knows me wouldn’t be surprised by my raunchy humor).

I recently revamped one of my favorite Mermaid Munchies just in time for the holidays, and I mean it when I say, they are kind of amazeballs.

Halloween is a time of creative originality, yet this spooky celebration always manages to stay true to its classic traditions of slutty cat costumes, TV marathons of Hocus Pocus and all pumpkin everything.

But before you get all white girl wasted on another Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbeez, or eat your body weight worth of pumpkin pie, I highly recommend you try out my latest recipe Pumpkin Spiced Protein Balls.

Pumpkin Spiced Balls

This healthy lil’ treat will give you a major pumpkin fix without the binge eating guilt. The unique flavor gives you a taste of sweetness with a little hint of spice — just like me.

It's a perfect on-the-go snack packed full of protein to help fuel your body for the weekend of shenanigans, not to mention I got all kinds of creative with the icing so you can trick-and-treat your monster of a sweet tooth.

So here’s how you make them.

Ingreds

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Roll into balls & stick in the freezer for one hour.
  3. Top with almonds and my sinless vanilla protein icing.

*For the icing mix together 1/2 cup of greek yogurt, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder and 3 tbsp of almond milk.

Now can you see why I love balls in my mouth?
