They say if opportunity doesn't knock, build a door. So just to be on the safe side, I’ve built like 12.

From beer babe pursuits to #GennahRation movements and everything in-between, it’s no secret I’m a creator of opportunity. But every time I hear a knock at one of my metaphorical doors, it’s almost as if opportunity is ding-dong ditching me like a shitty little teenager.

That was until recently, when I received an e-mail of hope.

It was around the time I got a rejection notice from Hawaiian Airlines. I remember refreshing my inbox for the millionth time that day until I saw a new message titled, “Congratulations, you’re officially a 2017 Malibu Marathon Ambassador!”

See you guys, I’m not crazy!

The Universe reeeeeally wants me to be a Mermaid.

When I built this door began this blog in 2014, being an ambassador was just a far-fetched dream. Now here I am with a chance to live it true for one of best races along the California Coast!

Oh hey opportunity, is that you?

There's no denying the universe works in mysterious ways and I'm small kine scared of what she has in store for me. But at this point in my life, all I can do is focus on that finish line and really go into this with all of my heart.
